Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 November 2026. This policy explains what personal information Icebreakurz LLC ("Icebreakurz", "we", "us") collects through icebreakurz.com and in the course of our business, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Who we are
Icebreakurz LLC is a sales enablement company headquartered at 244 Fifth Avenue, Suite R295, New York, NY 10001, United States. For the purposes of data protection law, Icebreakurz is the controller of personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at crm@icebreakurz.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, email us or speak to us, we collect the information you provide: typically your name, work email address, company, the topic you are interested in and the content of your message. If we go on to work together, we collect the business contact details and correspondence needed to run the engagement.
Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare records standard server logs for security and performance, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not place advertising or tracking cookies on your device, and we do not use cross-site tracking.
Information from our sales enablement work
In delivering services to our clients, we process business contact information about individuals at prospective customer organisations (for example name, job title, company, business email and phone). We obtain this information from our clients, from the individuals themselves, from publicly available sources and from licensed business data providers. We process it under our agreements with our clients and in accordance with this policy.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to provide, manage and improve our services.
- To communicate with you about work we are doing together, and, where permitted, about services we believe are relevant to your business. You can opt out at any time.
- To operate, secure and maintain the website.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one (for enquiries and client engagements); our legitimate interests in running our business, marketing our services to businesses and keeping our website secure, balanced against your rights; your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with: service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions (website hosting and security, email delivery, customer relationship management and business productivity tools); our clients, where we are processing information in the course of an engagement for them; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. Each provider is bound by contractual obligations to protect the information and to use it only for the purpose we specify.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the strictly necessary technical mechanisms needed to serve the pages securely. We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking. If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-respecting, cookieless service that reports aggregate traffic without identifying individual visitors. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers; Google's handling of those requests is governed by Google's privacy policy.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and work with clients and service providers in other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or on an adequacy decision where one applies.
8. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Enquiry records are generally kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you unless an engagement follows. Client engagement records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and contractual obligations. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the website, access controls, and contractual safeguards with our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom also have the right to lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email crm@icebreakurz.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us.
11. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page, and where required we will notify you directly.
